What are Anionic Surfactants?
Anionic surfactants refer to a class of surfactants, which can ionize anions after the molecules are dissolved in water.
Anionic surfactants contain negatively charged hydrophobic groups.
Characteristics:
According to the structure of hydrophilic groups, the anionic surfactants are structurally divided into four categories: carboxylates, sulfonates, sulfates and phosphates.
Applications:
Anionic surfactants play an important role in both industrial and daily chemical. Main fields like following:
1. Agriculture
Using anion and non-ionic compound as pesticide emulsifier, the amount of emulsifier can be reduced from 20% ~ 40% to 3% ~ 10%. This is conducive to improving the chemical stability of pesticides, while reducing the cost, reducing pollution, and improving the efficiency of efficacy.
2. Textile Industry
Many processes in textile printing and dyeing industry require a large amount of anionic surfactants, like textile pre-treatment process, post-finishing process. In addition, some functional products such as levelling agent, fixing agent, etc., some structures are also anionic type.
3, Daily chemical Industry
Anionic surfactants are widely used in daily chemicals and the most common soap is anionic surfactants, whose main component is sodium stearate. Anionic products have the characteristics of high foam and fine, low price, can reduce the cost of laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid and other products, and can improve product transparency.
