C10 Series
Chemical Name: Isomeric Decanol Polyoxyethylene Ether
Abbreviation/ Alias: C10 ethoxylated, C10 ethoxylates, Isomeric Alcohol Ether, ISO-C10-Alcohol ethoxylated, etc.
CAS NO.: 160875-66-1
Molecular Formula: RO(CH2CH2O)xH R=C10H21 X=3 5 6 7 8 9
Isomeric Decanol Polyoxyethylene Ether is synthesized with isomeric decanol alcohol with ethylene oxide (EO). C10 ethoxylated equals to BASF Lutensol XP series, like Lutensol XP30, XP50, XP60, XP70, XP80, XP90.
Products show different performance according to different number mol of EO.
Product Features:
1. Strong permeability, which can promote the adhesion of emulsion.
2. Excellent wetting ability; Excellent emulsifying ability; Provide good freezing/melting stability
3. No benzene ring structure, no APEO, easy biodegradation, low biotoxicity. Compared with natural alcohol ether, C10 ethoxylated properties are also better.
4. Excellent environmental protection is the most ideal substitute for alkyl phenol ether (NP/TX series), STP, etc., C10 ethoxylated is a new generation of environmental protection products.
Applications:
C10 ethoxylated series are non-surfactants, they can be used in combination with anionic, cationic, non-ionic surfactants and other excipients.
- Detergent: Used in cleaning formulations, including household cleaning agent, neutral water-based cleaning agent, neutral metal cleaning agent, alkaline water-based cleaning agent, acid cleaning agent, disinfectant, oil-based cleaning agent, etc.
- Emulsifier: Used in oil-based cleaning agents to emulsify mineral oils and kerosene-based hydrocarbons.
- Wetting Agents: This series is a very effective wetting agent. They can be used in a variety of homogenates, mixed impregnation and surface treatment processes.
- Penetrating Agent: Used in cleaning formulations to disperse solids resulting from precipitation, agglomeration or other chemical reactions, either alone or in combination with protective colloid. The results are usually better when combined with BASF Sokalan series dispersants.
Specification:
